LEAD Leverages Leading Technology and Service Advantages to Help European Client Build Efficient, Low-Consumption Back-End Solutions

Recently, Lead Intelligent Equipment (hereafter referred to as LEAD) achieved a major breakthrough in its international business by successfully securing an order for back-end equipment from a top European lithium-ion battery client, assisting the client in creating a complete back-end line solution. This collaboration further solidifies LEAD’s leading technology and exceptional service capabilities in the lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment sector, earning recognition from the international market.

The client, a wholly owned subsidiary of a publicly listed European company, specializes in the development of lithium-ion battery businesses, while its parent company also operates in the lead-acid battery, plastic materials, and electric vehicle sectors. To further expand its lithium-ion battery operations, the client plans to build a 260,000 square meter lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery factory in Italy, aiming to accelerate the development of its EV battery and energy storage battery businesses.

LEAD’s back-end line solution for this client covers multiple lithium-ion battery back-end production lines, including filling, formation, and end-of-line (EOL) processes. Once completed, the total production capacity will reach 8 GWh, significantly enhancing the client’s competitiveness in the global lithium-ion battery market and contributing to Europe’s green energy transition and sustainable development.

High Efficiency and Low Energy Consumption

By integrating the most advanced high charge and discharge efficiency technology with a DC system solution, LEAD optimizes equipment configuration to minimize energy consumption in the formation and capacity grading process. The solution also reduces the equipment footprint and enhances space utilization, leading to significant operational cost savings for the client.

Significant Cost Reduction

The project adopts LEAD’s negative pressure tray formation solution, which reduces the cleanroom volume by 90%, substantially lowering the client’s operational and maintenance costs.

Precise Temperature Control

The solution features a new self-regulating temperature unit, enabling the equipment to autonomously control temperature and achieve high-precision temperature control at the storage locations.

Enhanced Safety

The equipment is equipped with a mature fire safety system, addressing key safety requirements in the formation and capacity grading stages, effectively improving overall factory safety.

Full-Line Delivery

LEAD provides an efficient and robust delivery plan, offering end-to-end services from design to implementation. This ensures that the project is completed and operational on schedule.
